While looking around for metal mats, I found these "iON Master" mats. Everywhere I seen them they are ridiculously expensive, many times near $1000. Has anybody ever used one of these mats?

are any of the pads on that website any good?

the ion pads looks nice with the recessed arrows and the multi control box (GC PS xobox and usb)

though I never saw any reviews of those pads and cannot get my hands on any using google

Yeah, I would never spend that much on a home mat. These just looked, interesting.

And I've also searched far and wide looking for just one review of them with no luck.

I noticed that the description says that the pad has raised panels as opposed to recessed and that the arrow panels look like they are raised.

What would this pad have that others don't? My home built pad cost about 1/5 what this one does and it works like a pad should...

Does it come with gold trim or its own PS3 or something?

I guess it can be usefull to play barefoot or in socks,

though the regular iOn series seems truly nice, except that without any review on the web it could be on of the less sensitive pad around as well...

lol that looks like a complete ripoff!! Just by the RAISED instead of indented arrow panels, you can tell it's not worth 1000 BUCKS!!!!
