Got my TX-6000 today, arrived in perfect shining condition. Put the bar in and yea it is a little wobbly. I figured i would start something small so i did a song on Light just to try the sensitivity, right out of the box, it was very good. I then stepped up and got a AA on Healing Vision Angelic mix, things are looking great for this pad. The pad can be kind of loud, but I expected that.

So far, I am in love with this, the best one I have used so far, I will keep updates of how it is.

Are these mats still good? I've been in the market for a good metal mat for a long time now, and a TX-4000 or TX-6000 sounds really great for the money.

pooface, I bought my TX-6000 this past week, when I received it, it was already in perfect working condition. I've improved my scores so much already, + the bar is helpful even if it is a little wobbly. I recommend buying a tx-6000 if you want a bar, if you dont, just get a 4000. They are amazing!

Alright, I guess I'm going to be getting a TX-4000 or TX-6000, probably a TX-6000. What's the cheapest place to get one?

iv had mine for 2 years now, it it STILL works perfectly, the only thing wrong with it is the fact that the arrow colors on the pad, are wearing off haha but other than that it works great

well i dont have a tx4000 or tx6000, but i do have a tx1000 and let me tell yah, i get really mad at it. 3 arrows have cracked already and the metal sheets under the arrow keep on sticking to the metal detector under the arrow. i always have to clean it is not sensitive at all.
i would not recommend buying this pad (i bought it for $150+tax) if you play frequently and for a long periods of time.
but if you're looking for a cheap pad, then this is the cheapest metal one i can find, too bad i didnt know how bad it was though.
im gonna get a cobalt flux soon so i can play doubles! E1.gif

Hey everyone ^.^

Just poped in to show some loves hehe E10.gif The Tx6500-v3 pad i have is stilll going like a dream and now so sensitive i only have to touch the pad buttons to get them to work.

This is a link to some videos if you want to see the pad, look at the top arrow when im dancing, you can touch any part of any arrow, most of my foot never ever touches the middle part and it works like a dream E10.gif

Take care everyone and if you can get this pad, then do so, you will love it as much as everyone in here E1.gif

cheers

Hi there,

I think you said it yourself when it comes to this pad, cheep douse not meen good and at the end of the day this is the situation your in now, if your going to go cheep, then you may as well get yourself the best soft pad you can, and use that becouse this will end up being better then the metal pad you got, plus if you bought it in America, then there are so many fake TX's pads it is a joke.

You just chat about getting the CF Pad ? Have you read the whole section in here on the CF's, in 2005 they where fantastic, then they moved there team that makes them to make the very exspencive ones that have the original arcade sencers, but these pads are $1000's of dollers so we wont go there. The thing is that once the team was changed the qualaty dropped and there are people in here that have bought them and had nothing but trubble. If you have not read the CF thread from one end to the other, then do so before you spend like 3 / $ 400. on the CF Pad.

The same thing when i go for mine, i only play DDR on a soft pad for 30 minuites before i say this is rubbish, im going to get a metal one. I come in here and other sites and read everything and found the TX was the one for me, as it was the best at the time, and maybe still is. If i had not read anything online before hand i could have ended up makeing the same mistake that you did, and just think all metal pads are the same so why spend the money.

If this helps anyone in America reeding this, then i would still be looking at the Blueshark Pads as they are fantastic with proper arcade sencors, i read the whole of that thread too, just to see what they are like, again a fantastic pad but towards the end of last year they where having some problems and people where having to send there pads back, with no help at all.

This could have all changed though now, i have my pad so no point in me looking untill i want a new one or decide to get 2 at the same time for doubles E1.gif I still think the Blueshark is something i would like to have next and hope they will be fine again if there not allready.

Goodluck into finding your new pad if this is what your looking for, but please do the reserch first ?????

cheers and sorry for double posting

Roman ^.^

Finally got around to getting myself a metal pad... went for the TX-4500 FMAX rather than the 6500 as I've never used a pad with a bar before and it was likely that it would have spent most of the time off so that I could store the thing somewhere!

http://www.mayflash.eu/metal-dance-tx4500v2-fmax-ps2xboxpc-p-49.html

Anyway... first time I've used a metal pad and it seems REALLY stiff. Getting the sensors to react involves a real hard push and when I do a hold step it sometimes stops registering about half way. Is there anything I can do to the mat to get it a little more sensitive or is it just a case of playing on it until it all loosens up a bit? Have noticed that there seems to be some sort of foam inbetween the pads too. Is that supposed to be there?

So confused! Thanks in advance for any advice.
