I’ve purchased a PC compatible Dance Pad that I am using with a Mac (OSX) and a download version of Stepmania. Having never tried this before I was hoping to try it for exercise, perhaps more interesting than a treadmill. As it turns out I can’t even come close to keeping up. I haven’t bothered downloading “In The Groove” yet for fear of the same result. Does anyone know of software for Mac that has an entry or beginner level that’s really slow, real baby beginner slow. The slower the better since what I have now is just frustrating. I’m even willing to use the small screen on my PC instead of a Mac if it will give me a better chance at catching on. Paying for it isn’t a problem either.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Basically, Stepmania + some official simfiles (try zenius-i-vanisher.com).

iGalaxy,

I installed the download version of ITG and it's much better. I actually have a chance to learn it. Unfortunately, now the computer is no longer recognizing the USB Dance Pad in either Stepmania or ITG despite reboot and trying various USB ports. Works great with the keyboard though E1.gif

You can also get simfiles for DDR songs from either www.ddruk.com or www.zenius-i-vanisher.com if you like DDR better than ITG.
