wow. they might as well just call it guitar hero: Vice city.

anyway, that list doesn't impress me at all, and as it stands right now, i guess i made the right decision getting rid of my ps2 and not holding out for this game.

$40 for 30 new songs? WTF!!!

maybe $20 or $30(thats pushing it tho) would be a bit more reasonable. i dont plan on getting this one till i can get it for under $30. plus, aside from i wanna rock, nothing really excites me on that list.

if they have like a $60 bundle that comes with a guitar i guess its not too bad for people like me who bough GH2 with the guitar. then, it'd be around a $20 game after you take off the $40 game...and i do want a second guitar. i think redoctane/harmonix should charge less for whats essentially a "append" disk.

So is this a stand alone game now? Before many were reporting you MUST have GH2 to play this.

If it is maybe we will see a new package deal with a custom 80's guitar...

It would be nice if they through in the 360 exclusive songs from GH2 so PS2 owners could play them, (although they aren't 80s songs).

I can't wait to play Oingo Boingo and Dead Kennedys... This finally gives me reason to buy Guitar Hero. I liked it before, but the mixes just didn't have enough for me. I'm an 80s kid. And this is going to kickass. I'll probably buy the Flying V style guitar (reminiscent of the late, great Randy Rhodes) they sell at Gamestop now.

EDIT: Although since the songs are covers, I don't know how good it will be. It would be hard to match frantic guitar style and crazy vocals of Oingo Boingo. Danny Elfman can't be matched.
