I actually spoke with MMB today - after five months of trying to contact them! It's true - they respond at around 5pm EST (and not at any other time apparently). The guy on the phone was very responsive and spoke English fine. Here's hoping it works out - he said he'd speak to a 'specialist' about my bar bending the pad, and for me to call back.

wow, your an idiot, I emailed them, they gave me their address!!! and phone number!!! zomg!!! so I called them, in 2 sec guy picked, he said what I just said a few posts ago.

So today I went to six flags, it was fun! then on my lunch break I went to buy the blueshark!

Here is the story. I walked in, (boss is asian BTW), he let me test a random pad which had white stickers. It was pretty good actually. I was considering buying it even though I thought it was Nexen, (could not tell by the white wrapper), but it wasn't. He said, don't worry about the brand, now test the blueshark. OMFG what a difference, it f'ing owned. He opened a brand new blueshark, I tested it and worked perfectly. So I bought it, saved on shipping, and I knew it worked. W00t!!! Oh and he revealed the other pad, it was a Cobalt Flux.

So I now have an uber working pad which is awesome. If you would of emailed them or something they would of done something. 5 months??? that is bowl poopy, sorry but it is. I mean that is pretty dumb on your part.

I will post pics on my pad, maybe even a video. But the point is, if you live near the area, go to six flags, have a blast then buy your shark since it is 2 minutes away. Its so worth it.

Yeah, I wish those things shipped to the UK... Bit late now though, as I now have a Cobalt Flux. Its okay, but I'm not blown away, yet anyway.

Its great that if you go, they allow you to test them out.

works great on ps2, going to buy the ems usb 2 to play in SM, I love this pad, wont install the bar because I dont want to get used to it yet, I want to be good to barely pass 10/11 footers then I try to intergrate it into my gameplay.

Will the Blueshark help me get good at the arcade? I have a cheap metal one now and I can't really do anything at the arcade because my pad and the platform is much different (recessed arrows... feel weird.)

We apologize for the delayed replay but our customer service is now 100% back working again. We believe there are a few solutions to the problem with the stripped screw for the center panel how ever in order to determine which method will be best suited would you be able to send us a quick picture of the wood panel underneath the center panel that is loose. If we are able to see what type of condition the wooden panel is in we will be able to provide a swift solution in order to fix this problem.

Our customer service line is now fully available again and can be reached at (213)291-8789 Mon-Fri 10:00AM-6:00PM

To bobddr:

When you say the bar bends the pad, do you mean that like, the section that splits the pad from the bar is kind of looking like it seperates? Cuz mine does that too then...

Define "the area". I want a Blueshark, but don't want to order one online because of the horrible things that can happen. Buying one in a shop sounds great since you can try it out first.

To videoCWK, I posted this a few posts back, but here it goes.

The Blueshark is the best pad, better than CF IMO, it is like the arcade, it will help you improve, obviously,
so If you live in Southern California

First, call to make an appointment, 213-291-8789

Second, the address
Mymybox
27825 Ave Hopkins #4
Valencia CA, 91355

Third, they will say to go around 1 pm, now if you live pretty far, Six Flags is only 2 minutes away, zomg!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So what I did is went to six flags, then went to buy the pad, ate outside,(save money), then go back to six flags. That was my plan but if you go they will make you test out the CF first. If you are willing to buy the pad up front, then tell them to open a new one, and if it works, you will buy it.

That is what I did, hopefully someone will do this cause it is worth it.

Sounds good, I'll remember that if I ever go to SoCal.

To my current understanding, it's better than the CF as far as arcade feel goes. I have a CF right now (a working one), and the sensativity is pretty damn good. I wouldn't be surprised if it was equally sensative, but if it was somehow more sensative, I'd be pretty impressed.

GG for finally getting a good one, i remember you were pretty upset awhile ago about how it wasn't working good or something.

And also, am i the only one here that dislikes really sensitive pads? i mean, most of the reason why i get wayoff's on my flux is because it is way too sensitive... i like the sensitivity on ITG dedicabs, nothing more or less sensitive.

Actually, it's the same one. I sent it in, they played on it, and had no problems. This puzzled me, but when I got it back I didn't play much and then recently I've been playing on it a lot, and it magically works. I don't know what happened to make it work, but as long as it works, I don't care, either. It's just nice to have a pad that works, because I was pretty angry when it was still giving pad misses. You'd be angry too if you payed nearly $400 for something that didn't work right.

What the frick are you talking about?
I first emailed them around January 3, reported them to the BBB mid January (I was the third complaintant at the time), and in total have emailed them over a dozen times from January to now. I have called them dozens of times, including both me and my (at the time) girlfriend.
You have no idea what you're talking about. Be happy they're getting their act together now finally and you're oblivious to what they were like right after the Christmas rush.

As in, there was physical damage - the screws would no longer stayed tightly screwed in, the bar was tilting away from the pad, etc.
No worries, though - I'm sending back the pad for free via fedex and getting a 'new' pad (I'm guessing refurbished). It'll fix both the bent back and the broken X button biggrin.gif.
