Well I haven't played on my flux in about a month or so. Today I decided to start up DDR again so I put in the game, and when the screen comes up the selection thing starts scrolling like crazy and I'm only stepping on the middle. I get off and it still does it. I step on the down arrow to test it and it scrolls down. I step on the right and it starts scrolling like crazy.

Does anybody know how I can fix this? If so please answer because my dad is already pissed at me for paying the money I did for it and I don't want him to know I broke it so I kinda wanna fix it myself not send it in (god forbid)

Could be a stripped wire. Unscrew the right arrow panel, remove the lexan, and unstick the velcro. Then check the wire coating for any cracks. If you find any, wrap them in electrical tape.

So um, is it bad that awhile ago I was watching Family Guy, and when Quagmire came on, I thought something to the effect of "Whoa, It's AA Bob!" (I don't remember if the exact thought was "It's AA Bob" or "It's AA Bob's avatar", but I don't think it matters in this case)?

No that could be it.

I bought it used and you could hear the sand and shit in it every so often playing and its gotten worse so that could be it. Does anybody know where I could get a cleaning guide?

I would say just unscrew all the screws, take off all the panels and vacuum it out.

This happens to me EVERYTIME I start up DDR.

All I do is unplug the control box from the ps2 and wait a few seconds.

Then plug it back in.

=]

I hope that helps.
