Hello everyone, I am completely new here and in DDR world. I am buying 2 metal pads for my family. Right now I saw the 'ION' metal pad which has all metal arrows. Any feedback on that pad? I know the arrows are not raised or recessed. But someone said once you get use to it that won't be a problem. Does that mean after a while I won't need to look down and won't lose my position? What about DDR 'ENERGY' pad? I know it has recessed arrows with acrylic plastic. Is it sturdy and sensitive compare to ION pad? I think Energy needs adaptor for Gamecube game, right? Any suggestion will be appreciated! Thank you all so much!

If you are looking at these on a pad dealer site like http://ddrgame.com/ , don't bother. You are pretty much GOING to get ripped off. I'd reccomend a blueshark or a Cobalt Flux. With the Blueshark it's pretty much hit or miss, meaning that you could get one and it could be good, or you could get one and it could be terrible. As for the CF, it's decent, but te newer ones aren't as good as the older ones.
