PS2 DDR not working on new Sony HDtv

If this subject has been talked about before or belongs on another site - I beg your pardon.

I bought a new Sony HDtv a couple of months ago and tried to hook my PS2 DDR to play - figured big screen and all it would be great.

Not so. The arrows and dance pad do not match up. I have to hit the pad about a half step early to make it work.

Help!! what do I do??

Go to the Sound Options and turn the "Input" number up until it syncs up perfectly.
