Dude, let's face it: Konami will refuse to admit that it fucked itself in the ass for not bringing GFdm at the time when they're guaranteed to have the market.

Btw, they're still fucking us in the ass for other things (NO E-Amuse here in the US, Memory card link cancellation, and SN CS, which, as usual, is arcade-unfaithful.) >_>

i dont think GF would make it in the states
of all my friends that are Guitar Hero fanatics only 2 like GF and guess why?
they watch alot of anime so they recognize those cover songs
other than that most americans could care less about j-pop and anime songs with is what about 70% of the song list is

Speaking of GH.. This is what i heard on their current situation

Harmonix quit the GH staff so now only acclaim is managing it.. Acclaim also took out 2 patents on the names Guitar Villain and Drum Villain.. As we may or may not know Acclaim personally sucks at music syncing... I Beta tested their american server for Acclaim DANCE! (its a rip off of super dancer online) the songs are still off sync by about a full .7 seconds wayy noticable.

Harmonix however is now under contract for MTV.. MTV has had a huge interest in producing music games that actually sell if you remember MTV music generator and their crap buttocks smack the drum to the music arcade cabinet this would be a huge help.. I guess MTV is simply going to be Funding Harmonix so expect some new good games to come out from them.

It's one of weezer's old (good) songs so you don't have to worry about being flamed (by most people)

Weezer was the best popular band to come out of the 90's.

The fact that so many people think that honor goes to Nirvana shows what a sad state this country is in.

I'm gonna refrain from mentioning Weezer anymore. All it does is bring sadness and separation to the world.

Did you hear most of the music from that decade? Also, I said Weezer was the best popular band to emerge from the 90's. For my money, the best band to come out of the 90's was The Flaming Lips. (Even though they had some 80's stuff, they didn't hit their stride till the 90's). And don't tell me to get taste in music, sir; learn to sort your own personal preferences out. Weezer was generally accepted as a good band of the 90's, and the Blue Album as a prime example. Don't believe me?

Rate Your Music: #497 on Top Albums of All Time, #18 of 1994
Blender: One of the 500 CDs You Must Own Before You Die
Pitchfork: #23 on Top 100 Favorite Records of the 1990's
All-Music Guide: 5/5 Stars
Rolling Stone: 4 Stars
Rolling Stone's 500 Greatest Albums of All Time: #297

So please, learn the difference between what is good and what you don't like. I didn't attack you for liking Muse, even though I can't stand them, because I know that they actually do have some talent.

no the blue album was popular because a bunch of 12 year olds wanted to have music to listen to like there big brothers did and this was what appealed to them if you like the blue album now you still have the musical taste of a 12 year old and thats all there is to it
