|
|
Today, with his quad on Kagami, Mike Quintance (LILQ) has passed JSB (WARP3: 9.97) for the best player of all time, as measured by WARP3 (Wins Above Replacement Player, Weighted For Era).
With a WARP3 of exactly 10.0, Mike reaches the highest possible measurement for the WARP3 statistic (the cornerstone player evaluation statistic in ITGMetrics).
Mike has absolutely no weaknesses on any song. If a single score can be chosen to represent his dominance (as Maxx was for JSB) I would choose 95.44% on V2, which has the highest tournament efficiency currently calculated. _________________

I still remember the rumor that he'd called it quits. Congratulate him for me if you get the chance and he doesn't read this. _________________

A player is considered good in my opinion when a player of a higher level comments about you or see's you triple A a song. Or if somebody looks up to you. Hope it clarifies. |

I didn't know JSB was the best...
Well yeah, that's quite the accomplishment. More internet fame for Mike! |

Holy crap, that's really insane.
They couldn't even get to WARP 10 in Star Trek: TNG. _________________

Good for him. So he's like, the perfect player then, effectively.
Curious: What was JSB's one (presumably) weakness? _________________

JSB didn't really have any weaknesses. He was an extremely well rounded tournament player, I think the only songs that gave him "trouble" were some slow songs. _________________

In theory, he could run out of songs. Johnny has about 20 blackout songs, and he was so skilled at the game that he would be sure to win within that period. However, in theory, if he were to face someone like Eugene (Tigger) with improved consistency, he could have lost by running out of songs. _________________
