Yeah, Gold's coming to US, but no release date is known. I have a feeling we MAY get a port of that. Although some songs that were on RED & DistorteD won't make it:

Most of these are licenses, while some I don't understand. EVO66's Wall5 also did North, & Red Nikita's Osuma Kubota did about 14 songs total, 5 appearing on RED, 1 on Happy Sky, & one returning on DistorteD & maybe more. Maybe noone cared about that song.

Beatmania US sales +1, as I bought it yesterday. I'm absolutely terrible at it. Oh well, I'll get better.

I've heard it's still pending, and Betson hasn't mentioned it anywhere. I was actually just talking with one of the admins from BMS and he was wondering about that as well, since everyone seems to have conflicting reports. Many say it's cancelled.

People were reporting that it was cancled in the UK, but i thought that was an april fools sort of thing.

I dont see why they wouldnt cancel the project in the USA. The 2DX GOLD test was really popular. The day i went there where atleast 12 people there and that was on a wednesday. The machine was consistantly played.

That's where speculation should stop though.

Just because a machine tests successfully doesn't always mean it'll be released. If there's no arcades that'll buy it, then what's the point? I know D&B was interested, and some others might be too, so there's a good chance it'll be out, but until there's an official word, there's no reason to go around telling everyone it'll be out like it's a guarantee, because that's what some people assumed with IIDX at the UK show.
