I always play with my socks, I have more freedom, I think i got calisus from playing because bridging doesn't bother my feet at all. _________________

Little magic gnomes
Somehow they get kicked around when I start dancing though.
Seriously? Shoes. New Balance, usually. Either socks or barefoot on home pads. _________________

My favorite DDR shoes are my Etnies that look like this:
They have really good grip, are light, and very comfy. I PA pretty good with them. On my pad at home I just wear socks. Barefoot is disgusting. |

It gives better grip though. It doesn't stick that much does it?
I've noticed it sticks a little more with soft pads than with the foam-insert type pads but it's not that bad. _________________

Yeah I mostly play with a foam-insert pad but I have a regular-type softpad too. And I play in the arcade too. _________________

Suit yourself. Metal pads are quite expensive though. _________________

| Yes, it does.
I don't (and atm can't) play at home, but a foam-insert pad would be fine. _________________

Nothing wrong with foam pads.
Except that metal's better.
And, oh, what is that you say? CHEAPAH!
Seriously, any worthwhile Foam pad is going to cost you $100. You can get a tx1000 ripoff or DT600 for about half that.
However, some people find softpads preferable, and if you're one of those people, kudos to you.
Just don't let price hold you back from metal pads. _________________

I don't wear any thing on my feet.
I play barefeet.
What's better than cutting the bottom of your feet on a DDR machine while it's dirty as hell.
That's some good times. _________________
