not a problem. i'm still paying far less than it would be for, say, 2 ignition pads, heh.
i also have friends who really like pump and want decent affordable homepads. if im satisfied, ill be sure to reccomend them to the DT pads, since your pretty much the only people who do (good) PIU hard pads. _________________

I just discovered this, and I must say it looks extremely awesome! I would like to ask how the dimensions are compared to the arcade? Can you make a deluxe 4 panel pad exactly the same size as a DDR machine's pad? |

I'm willing to bet he could, but most certainly remember/notice that there are no products on the line yet. Still in design/prototype phases, if I'm right... |

However, you are right, the DT600 is the only one that's anywhere near the market at this point, and the prototype still has to be wired, tested, and possibly *gasp* redesigned.
The DT600 DX is the only pad I have designed to the exact arcade dimensions. The DT500's and DT200's are 2" thicker than the arcade pads. However, a custom model of either can be made at 3" thickness. _________________

I can't remember if I mentioned this to you specifically yet, but I may have a distributor in Arizona soon.
When the web site's up, we should be able to get quite a few distributors, which means a much higher revenue, which means more prototypes sooner. _________________

Even if I can't get a distributor in or near Arizona, DT600's should only cost about $15-$25 to ship.
A little warning to everyone, I might have to raise the price of the DT600 series pads a bit. Not too much, but I looked back, and realised I hadn't factored in a few components. Don't worry, they'll still be the cheapest quality hardpads available on the market. For those who order before I officially change the prices, I won't add to your charge unless the material cost is actually higher than the retail price. I'll probably raise the price within a week or two of finishing and fully assimilating the prototype, so be ready to jump in there if you want one for $50. The finalised prices should only be about $10 higher, but I wanted to warn everyone anyway. I may counter this letdown by lowering the price of the DT200's $25. We'll see how this all goes down first though.
Also, I'm seriously considering renaming all the models. I'd like everyone's input.
EDIT:
So here's what I'm looking for. I need new names for all the models that sound good, but not too flashy. I'd like to keep it along similar lines as what we have. Here's the catch though: they can't be DT100, DT200, etc, because that might confuse people.
I'm thinking something similar to MMB pads, where they each have a name and everything, except that I'd like to have a common theme. I think it would be kind of fun to have them all named after rare chronic illnesses. Thanks all. _________________

Haha, I can see it now:
DDRChild: "Mom, can you help me pay for my Testicular Cancer?"
Mother: "WHAT?!"
DDRChild: "I know it's expensive, but these SOFT PADS aren't doing it for me."

Rare, chronic illnesses.
The DT Ulcerative Cholitis
The DT Hepatitis C
The DT HIV (wow that's terrible, lol)
The DT Multiple Sclerosis
The DT Epilepsy
The DT Heart Disease
The DT Diabetes
If you wanted to be THE MAN, a small percentage of each pad sold would go to a research institute dedicated to finding a cure for the illness after which the pad is named. Just a thought.
How about minor maladies and/or afflictions? The comedic potential is enormous.
The DT Hangnail
The DT Nosebleed
The DT Razorburn
The DT Heatstroke
The DT Splinter
The DT Leg Is Asleep
The DT Pins-And-Needles
The DT Selective Deafness
The DT Colorblind
The DT Xanthophobia
The DT Lack of Depth Perception
The DT Left-Handedness
This is fun. _________________

A little update on our progress!
The Prototype should be finished by today. I'll let you know or have somebody let you know later today if it's not finished.
I have ordered 12 lexan panels. 4 of these will go on my old tx1000's, which should appear on eBay in about 2 weeks, and the other 8 will go into our first confirmed and payed order.
It's really great to see this finally picking up, but I have to go finish the prototype now. Expect me back with pics and vids shortly! _________________

OOOOOOOOOH!
Are you gonna have special edition colors, like the red for aids in africa and pink for breast cancer, and yeah.
Now, here are some i think are good (in order from which the best pad and the worst injury are on top and the minor injuries and "soft-pad type quality" are on the bottom)
7h3 H34d5h07 (the headshot)
7h3 53\/3|2 (the sever)
7h3 L4(3|r473|r (the lacerater)
7h3 F|2467U|23 (the fracture)
7h3 531ZU|23 (the seizure)
7h3 5PL1/\/73|2 (the splinter) |
