DT: 10 ga = 30 ga?
PC: im not sure what metal you're talkin about in frosty's quote, and im also not sure what makes caution colors different from regular colors... but if you have a car battery charger (or other powerful dc power supply) its relatively easy to anodize aluminum any color you want with some household chemicals and food coloring. It's even easier to take the parts to a place that does custom car body crap and have them anodize them for you. They have to be aluminum though. |

It's kind of tough to cut too, so I'm thinking it's possible. I got some of the same stuff at Home Depot, and I couldn't find the gauge, so I figured it was 26ga. or something. I know I'm able to bend it by hand and cut it with a pair of snips (my sawblades won't stay in my sabersaw). |
Uh...10ga is over 1/8" thick - you're not going to find that in any 50' roll you can carry. Galvanized flashing is supposedly 32ga. |
