Hmmm I suck at songs under 140 bpm. Its just to slow. I am usually comfortable playing songs 150 to 170 on 3x.

*prays for 4x on supernova2*

If it's scrolling somewhere between 30 and 650, I'll play it. Anything outside those boundaries gets punched. I make exceptions for vertex because it's only, like, 20 notes at 667.

They should have increments of .5 like in other Bemani games.

I like songs like Chariots of Fire.
It's 1 bpm and has 1 note.
Although I get a little tired near the death run, I sometimes manage to survive.

666 bpm? please.
Don't get me started on 2400BPM(and more)! That's some crazy stuff man!!

Let's just pray that SN2 will have GFdm's speed mode selections, from 1~10x.

Going back on topic, I dare suggest to start on My Summer Love Light, or you're into BPM changes, I say Somewhere Over the Rainbow or Saint Goes Marching [Remix].

I'll 1x anything over 100 BPM. Below that, it depends on the song.

I like to play songs from 100-160 BPM the most. Faster songs are usually a 9-foot crossover fest. I usually use a 2x speed mod.
I like to listen to songs from 130-200 BPM though, outside of DDR.

Supernova 2 should have:
1, 1.5, 2, 2.5, 3, 4, 5, 6 for speed mods.

But that's--your right, they should.

Don't forget Mello, which goes above 700 BPM.

130-150 has plenty of chaos. You've obviously never played Twilight Zone, So Deep, Vanity Angel, etc.

I never said there weren't. That was my whole point.

That's what you said. Stepcharts in that range are rarely boring, unless it's all eighth notes.

Start at a speed you're comfortable with and work your way up. Age doesn't matter.

Wait, are you saying you did The Least 100 Seconds on x2 when you just said 230-250 is too fast?

I like any songs between 180 and 300bpm.

Faster songs are easer to PA if you ask me.

Most people would agree, because with slow songs, you get impatient and step early.

That and the visual perfect window gets larger as the arrows increase speed.
