Yep i own the Nexen
A)wires head to the plug between the red & green buttons
B)yea, just remove the top panel sheet metal
C)replace the current wires with a new one
D)dont think so, ive experienced the same thing on my right arrow, turns out that it was just the wire was bent too much (wire was bent at 90 deg), so i made it straight and now it works fine |
The sheet metal you're talking about, i'm not sure what exactly it is
Are you saying the actual panel the buttons are lying on? If so the screws are irremovable, i'm not sure how you would get that off |

So, my g/f and I are trying to find a metal pad to get for our apartment since the closest ITG machine is 2.5hrs away, and I've been hearing good things about the Blueshark pads.
My question is how durable and accurate are the pads? To give an example, I'll be using this pad for FA practice for songs up to and beyond a 13ft difficulty (aka keyboard charts). I want to make sure that the Blueshark pad can handle this abuse and still give accurate and consistant readings while I'm playing this difficult songs.
Thanks in advance. _________________

Well, my blueshark is awesome. I just got a 96.04 on Summer ex. with it about 30 minutes ago. Since I got it a few months ago, it's hasn't really given me any problems. Except at first, it was overly sensitive, but now it's still very sensitive, but it rarely gives me ghost steps due to that any more. I just had to break it in. It's also a very solid pad compared to tx's and afterburners and crap like that. The panels are almost an inch thick and have a nice firm feel. I know it can handle hardcore abuse because I always play 13s on it, and it's fine. the bar kinda sucks, but it won't break. It's just a little wobbly. So the blueshark is definately what u are looking for in my opinion. _________________

My Blueshark just came in today. I took it out and started playing on it, but it seems to make a lot of noise. (other than just me playing on it) I tried tightening some of the screws, but it still sounds clanky and squeaky at times. And solution to this?
I really love it, though. I need to get used to it, but I'm sure it'll be fine. ^__^ _________________

hmm, the velcro positioning seems to me as it would be a contributing facter to non responsive pads. i dont thing the metal can bend nearly as well with the velcro positioned so close together like that.
i reccomend trying to take off the velcro on there and getting the circle kind(thats whats cobalt flux usues) and put the circles in that big chunk of wood. then, align the other velcro circles on the the top sheet of metal accordingly.
if all works well, you just may see a noticable decresese in the amount of misses you get. hey, its worth a try, _________________

'Twould seem like if it supports any PS2 dance pad, then it'd support ANY PS2 dance pad. If Bluesharks are wired like every other metal/hard pad, I'd be willing to bet you'd be in good shape. However, do some more research before you decide. |

Should I post this problem in a separate topic? I don't want to get in trouble with the admin, but I'd really like to get this fixed soon |

Those were my first thoughts when I got mine back in December. Well, I think it makes less noise now, but it might just be me getting used to it.
And after getting used to the pad, I'm now (supposedly) much better. _________________

I've noticed the noise getting less noticable now, too, probably because I'm getting used to it. I've already been improving my scores in the first week I've had it. _________________

These people amuse me. |
now now, be nice to the engrish speaking people.
seriousely tho, you'd think they'd make enough money to get some people who speak normal english to fix their site for them. then again, you'd think andamiro would have the money to make it so the world tour modes wouldnt use engrish and would make sense, but look at how that went.... _________________
