Just odd to say. I don't think it's near an 11, myself. It's probably not the easiest 12, either. And I'm not talking about scoring, I don't care if you have three less excellents than you do on Disconnected Hyper (although Vertex is offsync), those numbers are all about passing.

Like it was previously said Vertex was initially rated a 12 because mines were a new concept, the slowdowns and the speedup at the end. By todays standards there is nothing extremely difficult about the song except for the speedup which many people have now memerized and can at least combo. I don't think Blake was being elitist by saying Vertex was a 10 he was stating his opinion on the matter, if he said Vertex was a 10 and the reason all of you say its a 12 is because you suck at it then yes that would be elitest.

Yeah, Vertex is a hard 12 for me for some reason. I mean, I almost have a tristar on Delirium ex, but I have like a 92 or 93 on Vertex. I think it's cause if I put it on 1.5, I can't read the end... and I don't play it enough

Either way, my first 12 was Euphoria, so I'm all screwed up.

VerTex is pretty simple in and of itself. The speedup and forced slower speed modifier bump up the difficulty, as do the mines.

I'm not sure why people bicker about difficulties. Just go play and have fun

Because foot ratings impact many people. We don't want people to fail because they see it's an 11 and think it's not that hard, now do we?

My First 12 was Hardcore of the North (Finally passed it 2 days ago with 62.01%) I haven't been able to pass any other 12's to save my life.. I find this to be the easiest. (Extremely easy to FA and the streams are a breeze, just hell of a lot of stamina drain)

I passed them in this order (at the arcade) not because of their difficulty but when I felt like trying them.

Delirium, Vertex, HOTN, Euphoria, Tell, Bloodrush, ! (bang), Determinator, Go 60 Go, Energizer.

I think the easiest is Go 60 Go, I would say Vertex but a lot of people suck with mines. Determinator is the hardest since it's the hardest/2nd hardest to score on, and may not be the hardest to pass but still is not that easy, probly top 3 hardest to pass.

I think they should all stay 12s because theres not one 11 chart I can think of besides maybe Monolith thats harder than any of them.

p.s. they're 24ths not 32nds in bang.
