I'm tired of playing solo on this game, but it appears that the only choice we have for an extra dance pad at the moment is madcatz. I've heard nothing but bad things about madcatz products, and was wondering how that lack of quality transfers over to the 360 mat?

It would probably be find for using as a homebrew chip. I recommend you read up on homebrews, get one of these madcatz pads, and build a doubles platform out of your two pads.
