Barring the ass-backwards way stepcharts are represented, the lack of coherent step patterns, general lack of creativity in the public songs, ridiculous grading scale, the necessity to download songs as you play them, and horrible off-synchness, why exactly would I choose FFR over Stepmania?

You're fucking dumb - you come on DDRFreak to postwhore the forums telling people to join FFR. Seriously there's too much wrong with it:
-It forces index/arrow playing
-Lack of speedmods/noteskins
-People on it like you play it
-It lacks most songs
-Bad sync
Wow, why the hell would you post that link again? It's in your signature and you've posted it in the first god damn post.
Oh, and if you had heard of SMO, you'd know that you can play online with other players, chat, have a variety of songs without hunting through a simfile database, etc. Plus you're apparantly not aloud to have official Konami/RoXoR stepcharts uploaded so all of the songs are fanmade and crappy for the most part. |

PS: FFR sucks. It was alright before because all I needed to do was get credits to get songs, but now I have to pay them money to get all the features and browse random threads on the forums to get token songs, etc. I just prefer SM.
