I don't know, this is kind of a different "version" of the pad arena thread. =\

Oh, forgot to add, guys, make some updates on there, and a valid product link (so that way i don't get a fake link, and so ppl can order them, put a link evenf or the crappy ones)

The thing that differs here is that newbies tend to hate reading pages and pages of stuff, so they make a new thread, and in this one its a more "to the point" database, whicht hefront page holds info.

My idea was to build the Pad Arena thread up and then compile it into the first post. Ergo, your post is the end result of the Pad Arena stuffs without the actual debate and information.

Also, get some info and some backups. I'd prefer to post up your information at the front of the PA thread rather than sticky it and have two different threads.

On that point:

Wasn't aware they were junk. Maybe include that they can be modded nicely or some junk like that.

Problems I have with this:
1) Doesn't have a pad for sale yet.
2) Known to have problems with a few of their pads.
3) Ignition I still consider to be a decent pad (although some of the latest seem to suck). Afterburners are known to suck.
4) Recent customer service has been sucky. Recent products have been variably sucky or good.
5) Mymybox...don't quite know how far to go with this one.

All TX series crap?

I own a Nexen at the moment, and a friend of mine owns a TX6500. And i must say, on the TX6500 i play alot better. Its far more accurate, and the panels dont have to bend so much as on the Nexen.

Also, in Europe, the best retailer BY FAR, is futuremax. Very good service, fast delivery, and respond to any email/question. I can even return my Nexen, and get my money back to buy me a TX6500, ir i wait to get a blueshark, because i think that still the very best metel pad because of the arcade sensors.

I have had DDRGame foam pads that last longer than other brands, and other brand pads that last longer than DDRGame pads.

I really think in regards of your foam pad, minus E-Bay, it shouldn't matter where you get your pad as they are all designed the same essentially... this after I have gone through 4 different name-brand game pads with the same results.

If you have a post on the front page of the Pad Arena thread, perhaps you could actually put this there.

If not, I'm sure there are people who would be happy to edit it into their own front-page posts (myself included).

Not many people want to read through an entire topic, but most people will at least read the first page and last page if they're truly interested.

I still disagree with a few things here and there but I wouldn't mind putting this up in the first post of Pad Arena and crediting it after some more information and revision.

Hi there Pied,

I totally agree with you about the TX6500 E10.gif I just got yesturday the TX6500 v3 of this pad from FutureMax.nl and the pad is fantastic E1.gif

My review of it with pics, written today can be found here ----

http://www.ddrfreak.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=111980&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=200

FutureMax like you say too, they are so nice and i ordered my Dance Pad last Thursday / got shipped to me on Monday and have it here for Wednesday and i sent them 3 emails over the few days and each time the guy got back to me with in 20 minuites and spoke to me on a first name basis, so you really get the personal touch, and each time he would say, Roman, anything you need to know we are here for you, so just ask E1.gif

Im so happy i made this purchase and i too love the Blueshark as by the looks of things, it is the more Exspensive version of the TX ^.^

Cheers and so happy someone else likes my Pad

Roman

Ps, I tryed to get x2 BlueShark Pads, and MyMyBox only ships to America / Canada, so dont think im going to be able to get them *sobs*

What you talkin' bout? My Redoctane Ignition 2.0 has lasted nearly two years! But I've heard the Ignition 3.0 is extremely crappy.

Oh, and Cavy, you'll want to edit those links. I just purchased a Domain Name (dancingtofu.org) and I'll have the site up within a week.

So what I gather from this thread and many others I've read over the past several days is: There are no good pads with USB support.

I have tried the DDRGame Energy deluxe pad and had excellent luck with the USB portion, but as you would expect, the durability was crap. After 5 days the pad was beginning to die.

I also just had a bad experience http://www.gameasylum.com
The customer service there is so pathetic, words fail me.

I can't find a better forum for the discussion of dance pad quality than here at DDR Freak.
I just started my DDR adventure, bought ITG(2?), downloaded SM, and I'm beta testing DANCE! from Acclaim.
I went the soft pad route, discovered that I like DDR for it's challenge and fitness aspects. and I'm ready to move on to a metal solution.

I wouldn't mind waiting for DT to finish his pads, but he's not even doing a USB version. If I'm going to have to use a converter box regardless, I may as well just spring for a CF since MyMyBox looks flaky as hell recently.

Sorry if this is in the wrong thread, and yes I did read the rules first. Any feedback is welcome.

Who told you that?

I'll make a control box for any system I can get a controller for; all you have to do is ask.
