I have my pump it up softpad taped down to plywood and it works great. Recently, my mymybox blueshark ignition pad's left arrow broke. If I get a pelican softpad from walmart and tape it down to plywood, will it work for 10 footers? Or does it just suck? _________________

from the pelican pad i tried, it just takes some time to get used to the pad. after that, you 'should' be able to pass 10s. |

I wouldn't recommend Pelican. I've never bought a working product from them. _________________

I guess I could always return it if it didn't work... _________________

Word on the street is that Pelicans are junk.
I've forgotten how nazi Wal-Mart is on returns...be sure to check that out before you buy from them. |

by nazi you mean they take stuff they dont sell and has been quite blatantly abused
the only way they wont take something back is if they dont cary any items that are made by the company of said item
and even then they usualy just take it anyway _________________

I'm talking more along the lines of opened/unopened, usage, etc. I seem to remember Wal-Mart having a particular policy about electronics and whatnot.
Your results may vary. |

The word/phrase for "no relation" in Japanese is "kankei nai" |

K, I guess my blueshark works now that I took the foam out. I still need a good doubles setup though, singles on any level has become too easy now that I've been playing Pump so much. _________________

i have experianced this first hand.
ok. dont use ply wood. unless you have some type of dense carpet.(i mean hardcore dense like pavenemt dense.)
what i do is i went out and bought one of those computer chair roller mats. like shown here.
http://www.keysan.com/thumbnails/xadv0292.jpg
i just put it down on my carpet and use my softmat.
absolutley no sliding in my experiance
and i use a bar and play 11 footer and there is absolutley no slidage.(word?)
now as for the Pelican
thats the pad i was raised on and it still works like a dream.
there ARE lemons but most are great.
ive AA'd a few songs and virtually no pad misses, just person misses.
i hope i helped. _________________
