I think I got the worst one built so far, I wouldnt be suprised.
I thinking about selling it :/ somehow. I would return it for a new one but I already threw out the original packaging, which means I cant get any parts fixed or and refunds without it.

Yeah, I'm guessing that they probably don't test all their pads.
CF says they do, but from some of the reviews I've read, I'm not so sure they actually do.

I have Cobalt and the only thing I didn't like was the fact that the base is a little warped. Also, the feeling of the pad is a little weird, but the sensitivity seems to be fine.

Did you buy another control box, or did MMB actually respond to you? I'm going on over a month of no responses to emails and phone calls.

my friend bought a couple CFs 5ish months ago, and they are amazing. we've made them even sensitive enough for me to have no problems (i'm too light to play at the arcade; even the brand new SN machine near me doesn't take half of my steps. CFs and softpads are the only ones i can do decently on, as well as a couple other metal pads i've tried that were destroyed within a month or two)

Has anyone ever gotten a legitimate response from MMB? This is the main reason why I'm holding off on getting a BlueShark. If I have problems, I want answers, but if they don't respond to me...I'm screwed.

My (2nd) CF works fine, but it's no arcade pad. Just don't try to mess with the screws/remove panels often. You will fuck it up (like I did).

I never really thought of it to be much smaller than arcade pads (playing with both often, I guess), but I play ITG at home and no good ITG machines around makes my opinion not matter (really clean good arcade pads are better because they have what I call 'bounce').

I decided to go with the blueshark. I love the look of it. I also think it is one of the most durable pads available. It has to be! Just look at this video on YouTube:

Well, no matter how good a pad is, there WILL be some with problems. So even though trob's is not working so well (even though it's not really much of a fault, more of a personal inconvenience) I still don't think it's just like all the other pads out there. I used to want a CF, but now I set my sights on the Blueshark. I may even pick up a couple of their deluxe pads for parties, they are cheaper than ignition pads and are probably better!
