What's on your feet while playing DDR?

at home on my pad online i wear socks.

Evil Socks on home pads...evil evil evil. I'll play in socks at home if I'm playing anything under an 8 footer, any more than that and I'm gonna go flying off and break something. Never play barefoot cause I don't like the material of the soft pads (actually, I just don't like the soft pads period).

In the arcade I wear my DCs or my Vans and have a bottle of windex (unless I'm playing at RVGL...those pads are so warped nothing will help).

I always wear some worn out Vans. I can never wear brand new shoes for playing DDR, they gotta be worn in, otherewise I do really badly for some reason. Is that strange?

I don't find it strange, I find it easier that way too.
Anyways, I have a metal pad and I wear socks with it nowadays, because for some reason the shoes don't let it sensor any more. It's weird. I've scraped my foot on the screws sometimes but not deep or anything. Oh well. At arcade I always wear shoes. Duh. Haha.

Arcade: Nike Air Max
Home: Socks, or if I have to use any kind of shoes, I use old pool shoes from when I was 13 or so, no laces or straps, tight so they stay on my feet, not as bulky as sneakers so the weight doesn't tire me out as much.... perfect, though still very noisy.

Nothing but NSS......... but makes me have a good idea some shoe company, or a new one should make shoes speciallly designed for ddr use and play.

I like skate shoes cause they have good accuracy (sp). But i can go like 10x faster in frees and stay closer to the mat.

Personally when at home I play with socks. For some reason it just works alot better for me. But at arcades I usually just wear regular Nikes. Or I have Samurai sandels and wear those. It really all just depends on my mood.
