You have to realize that to actual musicians and music game lovers, this is HORRID. however, to the audience that this game is aimed to, its not so much a "holy shit this is taking FOREVER." as it is a "HOLY SHIT I'M PLAYING A GUITAR FOR NINE MINUTES!!!!!! biggrin.gif "

Good point. I would have to agree with you.

As do I, which is why I'm fidgeting to get my paycheck tomorrow so I can rebuy GH1 and buy the bundle for GH2.

Because 1 has better songs.

I'm working for my mom this weekend to buy the GH2 bundle.. can't wait! In the meantime I can just play at my neighbor's. New PR today..91% on Take Me Out Expert. That's basically the only Expert song I can do well, lol.

QFT x2

But that's just because I haven't heard most of the new songs on GH2. I think I'll like them, though. With GH1, I knew only a handful of songs, and ended up LOVING the entire songlist. GH2 has its great songs, but GH1 had some of my favorite bands (Franz Ferdinand, Sum 41, etc.), so it wins in my heart.

But yeah. I'm mad because I was supposed to pick up my paycheck today, but couldn't since I live really far away from my job. The minute I can, however, I'm going to cash that thing in and buy me some GH2. =D

EDIT: Also, can someone just clear something up for me? When moving up to Hard and Expert Mode, are you supposed to use your index, middle, ring, and pinky fingers? or are you supposed to b able to play with three fingers? I've been trying to step it up onto hard mode (LOL I can only play medium and some moderate hard mode songs), but It seems like the pinky finger is holding me back. What's your opinion, guys? No pinky or pinky?

Index on green, middle on red, ring on yellow, pinky on blue. When doing oranges, if it's only a note or two just move your pinky over. If there's alot of oranges for a while, move your whole hand over so index is on red, middle's on yellow, ring's on blue, and pinky's on orange.

I dunno, I was just asking.

I got the game on friday, but I was working all weekend, not to mention studying for midterms. I just started playing today. All I have to say is that this game is awesome overall. I have my gripes with some stuff in the game, but it is really good. Seems easier, too.

Oh, and EBT, you were right. The singer for heart shaped box sucks.

Two. I remember in One I had to try a few songs out repeatedly on medium difficulty to pass them. I five star'd everything on medium on my first try, no retries.

Also, I had fun with the long long songs.

I have small hands, so I'd slide my hand and use my 3 middle fingers, only using my pinky for orange+green chords, otherwise I'd get a cramp in the back of my hand. My pinky's getting used to it after a few hours of playing though.

I'm sure if it was sold for profit, Konami would clamp down on it (I'm sure it's a matter of time before they clamp down on ITG).[/quote]
