What are some incorrect things you used to believe about DDR or ITG?

Here are some of mine:
-"PA Theme" from ITG stood for "Perfect Attack".
-MaxX Unlimited was impossible with a pad
-You could buy all the mixes (1st-5th) for US Playstation

That on DDRMAX2, if you played songs with Oni counterparts, you would get taken to a special stage to play the oni counterpart (I still believe that, I couldn't have been sleeping for a year).

When I first started DDR, I thought that you had to let go of freeze arrows right when they ended. I also used to think that anyone who could AA LoM was pretty much a god.

Also that RevenG songs were boss songs.

I still believe this.

Also, before I got good at PA, I used to believe that to get a AA you couldn't miss a single step, regardless of the song.

When I started, I thought Paranoia and Trip Machine were impossible. I couldn't pass either of them on Basic. Then once 3rd Mix came out, I thought Afronova SSR Doubles was impossible. . .

How wrong I was.

When I first started and watched Heavy Mode players in the arcade, I really thought that they had memorized nearly all those steps for each song.

I used to think that AM-3P on Light was the hardest song ever.

I used to think that anyone who could do Standard was god, and anyone who could do Heavy wasn't human.

I thought DDR songs were songs that would be played on my local radio stations, excluding licensed songs.

I used to think that that U1-Asami guy was named U1- A Salami. I'm not joking.

I thought DDR was hard. (LOL IM SO ORIGINAL M I RITE)

-I also thought Naoki was a girl and I called her hot once. o.o
-Sakura (Heavy) was impossible and anyone who could pass it was amazing.
-I thought the whole game was hard.

When I saw people playing on Reverse 3x I thought that they memorized the songs since it was "impossible" for me to read. >.<

-I couldn't even read PARANOiA Eternal on Light.
-I thought Challenge (Oni) songs were especially hard for some reason, and were considered boss songs.
-All monstrously good players were Asian (then again, I thought this when I was 11)
-I would never pass a nine, let alone a ten (Bag and Sakura so far lol)

-Thought Max 300 was impossible to pass
- Boss songs are super hard on any difficulty
- ITG 13's were the same as DDR 10's (How wrong was I disturb.gif )
-People playing/passing stuff on reverse were gods
-People who got 30 seconds into TLOM Extra Stage were gods

That max 300 was umpossible t o beat. And that people like kevbo and evan and others spent 25 hours a day playing(of course, that difies logic). Also, the first time I saw PSMO my face exploded, 3 months later I B'd it biggrin.gif
