Hi, I have a question...

Can I use the PS2's USB ports to power 16-24 5v LED's. Will it blow the PS2 and release "magic smoke".

What I recommend:
Go to Good Will and buy a lamp with 4 light sockets, then tear it apart so you just have the 4 light sockets and the chords, then plug it into a wall socket and you won't have to worry about killing your PS2.

tx1000 chips have inserts for LED's, and each panel is equipped with 6 low-grade LED's, although I've never seen a tx1000 with WORKING LED's.
