I used the idea of "ddrhomepad" and make it a little bit different, I didn't use the expensive Stanley bracket, and I didn't used metal to wraped the wooden part. I'm thinking to paint the wooden part and make it more pretty E1.gif
Total cost is about 98$ USD
It's very sensitive! E1.gif
The most difficult part I think was to cut the arylic, I went to Micheal's and let them cut it (1$ for 1 line...total of 15 lines.......) And also drill two arylic and let the screw fit in was kindda difficult.

Looks neat!
When you paint the wood, make sure to polish it before and after, then repaint it, then put on a buff, a preservatory coat, and then wax it.
That way, it won't look like a piece of wood that a 3rd grader painted. E13.gif

I love how you just have the controller kinda dangling out there.lol

You might wanna concider wraping some of those loose cables togeather with somthing better than zipties. I'd suggest using pc wire sleeves.

http://xoxide.com/1yeuvrewisl.html

Somthing like that would work fine. Comes in 1/4" also, if the 1/2" radius is too much. Plus it's uv, so it would look pretty sweet under a black light.

So I remodel my pad in the past 2 days. I covered the wooden part with sheet metal roll, and I used some wood to make the frame.

And here is my Dance Dance Revolution stage!! laugh.gif

Do you have a high-res image of that warning sticker, and the exact dimensions of the sticker? I am making my own ASC, and am gonna put that on my pad.

Wow that is a cool pad. The first picture doesn't do justice to the amount of work put into the pad and the great design of the internals.

Could you post a picture of the metal contacts under the arrows?

How much does it weigh?

Edit: Why did you switch out the metal that holds down the panels for screws? Was it only for aesthetic reasons or did the metal bend down?

To Flound3r:
Yeah... I didn't have the right glue so I just used super glue, it did work very well.

To Travelsonic:

I don't know the exact dimension of the one i used, i have to measure it later.

To OI!!:
I don't think I'm going to open the arrow for a while, when I open it I will take some pictures.
I don't know how much it weights, but its not very light compare to my TX-1501.
I like to play without shoes or socks, and it was very dangerous to play when there is that metal thing, and sometimes I can hear the arylic cracks, so I took it off and just used some screws, and it works perfectly fine, but the screws are still kindda sharp, but it is a lot better than the metal thing, I think I will go find some rubber for screws if I can find some.

Yeah, see if you can measure it and get some dimensions. I redid the label to my liking which I'll most likely put on my pad. Just need some dimensions to print it now E10.gif

VICTOLY!

"Using the rotary controller of dance of dance, you insert, in order not to fall, you pay attention other than the step vibration do not have to obstruct. In order not to cut you yourself of the screw, pay attention."

Translated to Japanese and back again. E7.gif
