I have been giving quite a bit of thought, and I have come to a decision. I, Mark MacGregor, a.k.a. Diesel, am tendering my official retirement and resignation from DDR and all music games in it's entirety, effective immediately. Recent events have surfaced that have led to this decision. I can no longer barely tag along as the new generation takes over. It is time to step down and let the next generation of players take over. I am a dinosaur in comparison to the younger players of today. After all, I gave it a good run, and eight years is considerable next to some other veterans. So, thank you for everything. I can only hope that the paths of some DDR players and I will cross once again in the future. Good-bye, everybody.

Um, alrighty then...
Why all rhythm games? I understand dropping DDR, but what about IIDX or Guitar Hero or whatever else rhythm games you played? _________________

Sad... but if you really think it's your time to quit.
Altho, you should at least move away slowly and keep playing Stepmania or something.
Oh well your decision. _________________

Uh, good luck?
Honestly, I've never understood people's fixation with announcing their retirement. _________________

Same here. I mean it's not like you're moving to a different continent or something.
This one is especially weird because he's a light member. _________________

Just because I am a Light member does not mean I'm a Light player. I played with the best, and I step down to clear the way for those who are more deserving. Dave Fier, LLX, Tr1x, Big Matt, Jimbo, Yasu, JSB, the list goes on. I'm not giving up on Guitar Hero, just games like DDR, ITG, Flash Beatz, and so on...

There's two problems:
1. We've never heard of you before
2. You therefore sound like a really conceited asshole who thinks they're good.
Sorry. |

it always seems that light and beginner members say that theve been playing for like the beginnig of time. 8 years? thats goes to 1998, but what was it, like november 11?, you couldnt have played for eight years, and thats just in Japan. i doubt you got a machine like that.
away from technicalities....
if youve played wit them, surely you have Groovestats or a ddrecall or photo or SOMETHING, why join a board and then give up? seems odd to me...
hmm, thats seems disrespectful, oh well, ive been on a roll today _________________
