What metal pad do you guys suggest that I get? I used to play about 2 years ago hardcore I bought a pad off of ebay then made some custom pads for it and now the pad is just too old and the wiring has went bad in it. I want to get 2 new metal pads but there is just so much more to choose from then there was a long time ago. I know Red Octane was the bomb or used to be If not 2 pads I'd like to get one really good pad lookin to pay around $300 or so for one, no back bar though. Any ideas please? E19.gif

Your post is quite unhelpful. For one, you forgot to mention MMB's Blueshark. You also didn't link to them. You also didn't mention that the Blueshark is the best of the MMB pads, and that he should really try to get one of those before he tries to get a nexen.

http://mymybox.com/ Blueshark and Nexen

http://cobaltflux.com/ Cobalt Flux

Whatever you do.... DO NOT get pads off eBay... Those "ninja" pads, and etc are just TX-6000s.... Which suck from what I hear.

So either go with a Cobalt Flux pad, The Nexen by MMB, Or If you want a REAL-close arcade feel, Get the Blueshark. It uses real arcade sensors, lol.

I'm actually kind of just seeing if they've fixed that posting issue yet.

But yeah, what they all said.
But remember Dancing Tofu Gaming!
The DT200 might be the kind of thing you'd want, and after a profit-shipping discount, it'd probably be about $280 with shipping.

Yeah but when exactly are these coming out again? If I recall correctly wasn't it like summer 2007?

There really needs to be a sticky about the recommended metal pads. We also need to change the boards again so that any unread sticky will do something to make itself REALLY stand out.

Oh yeah. We'd of course have to throw in that bit of information. But we can't list every bad pad out there (that'd take up at least a few gigs of space on the server), so we'll just have to say "And remember, in the world of good pad buying, it is a deadly sin to buy a pad off eBay or any pad dealer. Even if you see pad dealers carrying good pads, they usually add on an extra $50"

go with the cobalt flux, ive got a blueshark with a bar and its GREAT.

but blueshark with no bar hasnt been in stock for like 3 months now, theres very little demand for it.

you might have to wait for a while if you want one with no bar.

I've heard that the Blueshark bar is somewhat flimsy; how's yours?

It's flimsy, but it won't break and it works.
