And discuss why.

Personally, I think they need to do it. I kinda feel slighted when I get a halfassed Dragon Blade. frown.gif

No, and I agree with keeping songs under 2 minutes, but I say that crossovers that are already under 2 minutes (HI RED ZONE!!!!!!) should be left as is.

Depends on the step-artist, and the song.

Absolutely. Hot Limit and B4U glorious style were regular choices for me on 5th Mix.

Unfortunately, considering how ten-footer happy we seem to have become, I get the feeling Konami would throw in a 3-minute Max or two if they decided to bring back long versions.

I've never had the fortune of experiencing long versions frown.gif...However, I would love to try them sometime, so I would most definitely vote yes if they ever bothered to ask us, the consumer, anything before they did it.

Why on Extreme 2, we just have these 70 second crappo versions of "Oops I did it Again" or "My My My."

Infinite Prayer was at least 2 minutes. -_-;;

At least SuperNova has good songs like Doll, Xepher, and Flow.

Definately.

Most long version step charts are very fun (maybe with the exception of Oops) and the songs are good. And besides, it takes up two of your songs so it's not like you would be waiting forever for someone to finish up their game.

Those are oni/nonstop courses in which you play several songs in a row (with little or no break in between).

If they do bring back long versions, I'd want them to be less repetitive.

I think they should. The long Versions may have been hard to play because of their stepcharts, but most of the LONG VERSIOns songs were worth it.

I vote yay. Some songs are just fun enough to play for 3 minutes, and I found some charts (B4U Glorious Style, Hot Limit) to be enjoyable the whole way through. They're not at all draining either, so long as you have decent stamina erm.gif

Yes, but only if...

... they aren't frustratingly repetitive (ie. Hot Limit)
... there are only a few per mix, so that there's no overshadowing of the 1:45-2:00 songs
... the steps in long versions of existing songs are slightly less dense, so that the overall fatigue is about the same
