Ah, FELM's much easier on Heavy. Especially when you're played it enough so that you know when the tempo changes are. Well, same with FAXX, but it's just...harder. _________________

FAXX is harder when comparing both the Heavy and the Oni charts to FELM's. _________________

I definitely find Faxx to be much harder than FELM. I can AA FELM Heavy almost every time, but I still can't even beat Faxx on a constant basis.
Those slow-downs rip me in half, Mortal Kombat-style. _________________

Fascination MaxX is alot harder in my opinion, but you'd probably be able to sightread FaxX better than FELM. |

I can read and somewhat catch up with FELM(though 1.5xReverse Solo really kills it for me), but I can't do either on FaxX. It's just way too fast for me. _________________

I disagree with your disagreeing on that point.
And for the record, I'm referring to difficulty in the case of being familiar with the slow downs and stops, in which the only factor is plain movement skill. _________________

even though i AA'd felm and not faxx, i am probably the only person that thinks they are at equal difficulty. _________________

I think the pauses are the best part but I think FELMO is harder than Faxx oni just because of the jumps and the slow parts. _________________

but the thing is, i FC the pauses all the time, i just think that there are hard/easy parts in both, making them similar in difficulty. _________________

Because your approval is everything I strive for.
The OP asked for opinions on what's harder, and I gave mine. Believe or don't. I could care less either way. _________________

I agree with RWR. FELM Oni is much harder than Faxx Oni. And i'll explain.
What is easier on your legs? Streams of 8th and 16th steps at 200bpm (FAXX), or Streams of 8th jumps and 16th steps at 200bpm? (ELMO)
Try substituting the streams of 8th notes in Afronova and Orion .78 (civilization mix) with jumps, and you'll see my point. For Level 2, try substituting some of those jump streams with 16th notes. Can you do it? I sure can't. I know some of you can't either. Thank you, gravity. Class dismissed. |

FELM has hardly any 8th streams.
And FAXX has step-jumps, too.

Why is this like the 100th thread about this? They are both hard songs. Clear them and be happy. The end. _________________

I would say FELM becuase on oni becuase of the ridiculous amount of jumps at the end. |

Yeah, FAXX has step jumps on heavy and Oni, but it pales in comparison to FELMO. The finale in FELMO is almost entirely made of jumps, and if that wasn't enough, you got small bursts of 8th notes in addition to the jumps.
As for FAXX, the only part where there are a lot of step-jumps is before the last slowddown, and that part lasts about what...6 seconds?
Anyway, both songs are hard. Whichever one is harder is based on how well you can do streams and/or jumps. END OF STORY. |
