broken zipper on a redoctane ignition mat

I just aquired a used redoctane ignition mat for my daughter. It works. The zipper is broken in two places I'm afraid it will come apart when she dances on it.

I was told it was in used - but o.k. It doesn't work unzippered. I'm ticked that the seller didn't tell us about the problems with it. It is too close to the holidays to send it baclk.

Any suggestions on fixing it? Will packing tape or duct tape work - or am I out of luck?

For one thing, NEVER BUY A PAD OFF EBAY. Your lucky you actually got what you ordered. The best thing you could do would be to use duct tape. Or get something else.
