Yea, So I have received one of those Intec Hard pad dance platforms, The cheap ones from Toys -r- US, it works on mah PS2 fine, and since I rarely play on ps2, i decied to mod the contection to mah USB, well, I did, it worked, but would stop working in the middle of a song, since I wanted to mod it, and clean the sensors and replace teh foil, I went ahead and wire it up to a Game Stop Softpads CB, It worked for a while and then did the same thing, I get out of SM, and open up my device manager, it shows up as working fine, same with XBCD, I load SM back up and it plays for a while and does the same thing, I checked ALL my wires, they are fine, I checked my drivers, they are fine.
Oh, and SM isn't installed, when I had to reformat, I just copied the entire folder to my other drive, and i've been playing it from there. it works just fine on my soft pad, but screws up on anything else.
is it my comps USB? The control box? or SM? |
