Yes. See the 10th page of the unpack ITG PS2 thread.

And no, you can't manage your memory stick.

Actually, it's easier than that. You can just add an AdditionalSongFolder; there's instructions here.

You still need to convert files to .sm and .ogg, though. No getting around that.

It's easy to convert to .sm. Just go into Edit Mode and save the song (you don't need to change anything).

He was talking about the PS2 version. While this would still work on the PS2 one, these might be a little too unclear for the PS2 one.
