Yea, I am considering dumping out some cash and getting a Blueshark, BUT! I see there is 2 on the website:
BLUESHARK METAL DANCE PAD - New 2006 2nd Edition : 2" Thickness
Which is $350
and the
MYMYBOX BLUESHARK METAL DANCE PAD with a HANDLE BAR : 3" Thickness
Which is $399.
I will be asking for one of these for christmas.
Questions are, the blueshark with Handle bar, Is it sturdy enough to hold me up? (I'm about 185, and do 6,7-8 footers) And are they TRUELY arcade feel? I may end up getting a CF with the Arcade mod, but i really like the mymybox.
Any videos of people playing on the blueshark??? |

Okay.
Now my next question is, one is 2'' thickness, and the other is 3'' thickness, which of the 2 will give me the best "arcade" feel possible? the thicker? or the thinner? |

I don't think that the thickness will make much of a difference. It's the barless one that has the metal center plate like at the arcades so I assume that one would give you the most arcade-like feel. There probably isn't a huge difference though. The only reason it has a metal center is because it's the new 2006 version. They'll probably make a 3" version of it with the bar sometime, but I doubt it'll be before Christmas. |
