I got a USB adapter, Pu203
it was working jsut fine yesterday, i can do double steps, and similtaneous stuff easily, but yesterday the down button jsut stopped working.
so i checked with the control panel thing to see if its reflexes were ok, they;re fine.
i inserted it again into the mapping stuffs, it read it fin there, in the menu, pressing down on teh down button works just fine, i can scroll using it
when a song starts, i can press it to make the arrows at the top move, (u knwo testing type thing....
but when teh actual arrows come down and teh gameplay begins, the down arrow refuses to worrk, and then when i return to the main screen, down doenst work for scrolling at all. and wont reguster if i reneter it, sso i ahve to restart stepmania if i even want to get that 'half-workingness'
isnt that strange?
does anyone know whats wrong?
do i have to reinstall something, has this ever happend to anyone else?
it was fin yesterday v____v and im sure the down isnt broken.....like i said earlier
please help
thankyou! |

Well, first thing I would do would be to just reinstall it. There's probably a newer release of SM anyways that you should use anyways. 2nd if you have or can get a hold of ITG for PC try that. Third, try to hook your pad up to a ps2 if at all possible and we can get control box issues out of the way. Finally, hook a ps2 controller up to your ps2/usb adapter and try to play with controller and see if its working and what not. That should narrow down your problem. Let me know if you need more help and what the results of these tests are. |
