In Space Junkie, there's quite a bit of dissonance between the pad/gated arp and the lead/bass. The melody isn't bad, but it's a good idea to vary the song more with different melodies, breaks and builds. Space Junkie just goes along with the beat coming and going, the song itself has very little form at all. But the first thing you should focus on is getting better samples, because the kick is very weak.

I don't know how long you've been making music so don't take any offense, but if you're trying to submit your current music to DDR/ITG, that's not realistic.

The dissonance is intended and in my opinion, the song doesn't suffer because of it. Also, if I was to submit space junkie to ITG it would be a shortened version probably featuring the intro, the bridge section and the rest of the song after the bridge. So, variety wouldn't be a problem in my opinion.
Also, space junkie isn't one of my better songs. You should listen to the remixes I made of it. You'd probably be more impressed with them.

I was commenting on the Glorious Mix, sorry for not being specific.

Pretty old... and I doubt I'll make steps for another song until Stepmix 2. I think I've improved a lot since, but I rarely finish anything. The JP-8080 has given me some "inspiration" though, so who knows.

Well, I've been making more music, and I think I'm improving.
