Hmm...I'm rubbish at HotN, as far as I could tell in the one time I've tried it.
Damn. One of my pads just got ripped when I was doing VerTex. I'll get you back, VerTex, for what you did to my pads! biggrin.gif
All joking aside, my first 12 is definitely gonna be VerTex. All I'm missing is the stamina to see me through the last 10-15 seconds or so.

Hey...just beat first 12! E7.gif

Funny how I did better on this than Infection or The Beginning. Took me 6 tries over 4 days, I think.

It hasn't helped my FA but then again I don't think any pad would. It feels just like an original Cobalt Flux, but when you get way off an arrow; you'll know. I can still pass the same songs and nothing harder. The look is pretty much what I wanted because I'm making a bar and base mod, and I want it to look remotely like an arcade pad.

davidyko - Congrats on VerTex! E10.gif I'll pass it also when I build my base mod. E15.gif

Cool...VerTex isn't that hard really, you just have to know the speed changes and have a bit of stamina. The 600 BPM part is one of the easiest in the song.

I get a lot of pad misses on july due to trying to bracket rape candle steps and I was wondering if it would help. I decided I'm going to try it and see if it's the pad's fault or mine. E10.gif Sometimes you can't really tell.

Possibly...I got about 10 pad misses on July during the candle steps because I didn't hit the up or the down arrow right in the center. I regret not getting a Blueshark and getting my Cobalt Flux. frown.gif Anyway, I was talking to my dad last night about the Blueshark with the bar and he said, "You just want one like at the arcades don't you?" I said yes of course, and he asked how much the actual cabinet went for. I told him about $6000 - $8000 for an Extreme. Then I showed him the Solo ones, and he said that if we're going to spend $3000.00 on this you might as well go all the way and get the best one. I don't know if he's going to follow through with this, but there's a chance that I may get a machine. I'll probably go with an Extreme ($7000) or an ITG 2 ($10,000) if I get one.

Anyway here are some scores that I got from ITG PS2. I'm probably going to the arcade in an hour or two, so I'll probably have Destiny beaten.

Don't Promise Me -Happiness- (Hard) 95.17%

Kiss Me Red (Expert) 89.34%

The Game (Expert) 91.81%

By the way if anyone's wondering why the pictures are small; it's because they were taken on my cellphone rather than my digital camera. I accidentally left it on the SuperNOVA DDR machine when I finished playing and ten minuted after I realized it, I ran back and it was gone. x.x

DarkCore: Holy shit, you're serious?
$10,000...wow...*dies*

*revives* Oh, Bluesharks with bar are gonna be in stock Dec 15 or 18. I think I already said this. They're letting us pre-order this weekend, apparently.
And yeah, and there's a reason why people play VerTex on 1x.

Holy hell what? laugh.gif
Yeah I want an ITG 2 dedicab but the purchase page on In The Groove's site won't come up on my computer. Possibly because Konami acquired ITG?

EDIT: I live in Brampton, Ontario, Canada. E10.gif
EDIT: davidyko - Yup, my dad's going to buy it after we get settled in in the new house. Stick a nice DDR machine in the basement. E1.gif

Sorry about your camera, DarkCore.

1.5x Mini or 1.5x Hallway/Distant.
Yeah, I was kind of pissed off about my camera. I swear to god it's like there's no honest people left in the world.

Or 1x/1.5x Overhead, for that matter. Rawr, you know what, I'm going to flying over to Ontario and bang on your door until you let me play when your ITG2 comes. (My cousin lives in Ottawa...I think.) I don't think ITG2 machines exist within a 20-mile radius of my house.
Dude, that sucks about your camera. disturb.gif

Me neither. In fact, there are three arcades with a 4-panel dance game within a 20-mile radius of my house, and two have DDR Extreme and one has Supernova. ITG2 is over on the other side of town.
