I think you're referring to the song Pumping Up and not Pump Jump... sadly, Pumping Up is gone after a long, LONG run in PIU. I'll be sad to see it finally retired, but I'll remember the good fun I had playing the song.
Supposedly, there is info that the machine we've seen is a beta:

Based on a post in PumpHaven from Aldo_MX who has connections with the Mexican PIU supporters and AM, as well as having reliable info:

There are 4 channels: BanYa, K-Pop, Pop & New Mixes, you can't change between them like before, but the interface color changes when you enter in a new channel
The song arrangement... its like prex 3, the newest songs come first (ex, ex2 & zero) and then the same old arrangement (1st to prex 3), now extra is at the end (it used to be before prem3 but after prem2)
There are a lot of new songs (i'll upload a video from the song wheel later, i have to cut & encode it first), a lot of anothers (all the zero anothers are free, but the nx anothers are locked), canon-d full hard, some remixes (the half locked) and some full versions (all locked ¬¬)
Also.. if you play a full version you're not able to play a full version again, you must play only a remix or an another. And now there are 2 stage + bonus  (i think that you can play a full, a remix and the bonus)
If you leave the selection on a locked song when the time ends the game opens the nearest song (I was on pray another and it opened vook another)
The song interface its beautiful, I loved the live bar (the only part of the nx interface i actually liked)
And BTW...
@People Flaming NX.- Don't flame NX until you play it, we only recorded the hardest steps, but we couldn't record the lighter ones (flame my camera, it went out of battery  ), and also, Chimera, FA ep 2-1, FA ep 2-2, etc. in Hard are like LIADZ2 in Hard, for the new people they are impossible, but for the oldest ones, specially the ones that don't have a good level (like me) they're perfect. Chimera or FA 2-1 will make you even get confused the first time, but the second time you'll enjoy a lot the steps (well, at least I did).
That NX its confirmed by Yahpp to be Beta Version (at least thats what the supporters say, so maybe there will be some minor changes), and "La Crema" its the last hidden song and it appears after finishing the World Tour (I hate that song but well... I hope the steps save it).
PS. The videos uploaded by me in Youtube are from a finger arcade (its an MK6 from inside, but the rest are home-made parts) and sorry my English if its not understandable at all. |

OH SNAP! somthing had just occured to me........the vids from youtube are keyboard players and from mexico. The number one player score in the world is from mexico. Dose that mean that score was acheived by keyboard?! or even worse do all the players on that top 10 list use keyboards? it seems like getting a score that high is impossible with your feet =( someone plz explain thx

I'm assuming you haven't seen videos of Gorras? FPCing Moonlight CZ = scary. It's not like people really care about the Internet ranking so much, since the real test is getting to WPF! (for competitive steppers and freestylers) On a normal Zero machine, you can only use the keyboard to change your mods and cannot use it to play. This special machine I believe is a hacked System 16 with the MK6 pushed into it or something, which is how they were able to play with keyboard. This is not the usual way of getting a score, but I wouldn't be too surprised about other hacks.
That said, a keyboard won't get you through Nationals and WPF, so don't worry about that. WPF and Nationals is where the real top ten appear.

In Zero and apparently in NX as well, the Another steps are accessed in a separate channel from everything else, so you change from Banya to K-Pop to Pop and then to Another. Another stepcharts are usually alternate stepcharts, though sometimes they can be harder.
And I'm an admin at PumpHaven, so I'll know when we get NX info and I'll post some here.
Finally, photos from stariandolphin of PumpHaven straight from Korea:
Looks like the interface's visuals will be Zero quality! Looks a lot better with a good camera.

Oh my GOD, that could be (and most likley is) the most awesome dance game cabinet ever. NX is gonna be great. And right now I'm doing a happy dance on this inside, because the manager at the Chuck E Cheese I play at said they were getting one. A whole new machine and all. NX needs to come out sooner, their Exceed is getting old fast.

Those pictures are from Yhapps office.
I don't have a lot of time left here so I'll make this quick: NX looks GREAT on the FX cabinet. Sound is pretty good but it was turned down in the hotel.
NX's controls are almost exactly the same as ZERO, it just looks different. BGA preview is still there, just come to rest on a song and it'll start previewing. Some of the new stepcharts are insane, like one that ends with arrows still on the screen.
I have interface and gameplay video, but I don't have enough time to upload it right now, i have to get back to the hotel.
I get back to chicagoland late monday night, so I'll start firing things off from there.

freaking bull shlt! I don't beleive that for a second......first of all what cec do you go to? I have been too 2 of them in NJ and had many long talks with both managers and it clearly seems that pump it up is going to be gone. I think I may know what cec you go to it's in menlo right? that one has the first exceed and the other one has exceed 2 which is in union. You really better not be making this up I want more info of what was said between you and the manager, not some dumb employee who says there getting nx because they think ur god among all the 3 year olds anyway.....I'm looking for more pump freinds iv'e made a few over the past few months so if you wana meet up and practice singles that would be cool ^^ peace |

Burlinton eh? never been to that one. I'll have to see how far away it is from menlo/union ones. wow another year though? why the wait!? thats very upsetting! chances are you should probably come to union where we have exceed 2 i'm sure your dying to try anything thats more new hehe
