IIRC, it took me 12 tries + once on the controller. And I still ended up getting 49.xx%. |
...You passed with a 49%? I didn't even know that it was possible to pass with anything less than 50%. I'm surprised that you haven't beaten Infection yet; it's not that hard once you know the beat. You can pass with less than 50%, the only requirement is that your lifebar doesn't die. Hmm, I'll check out the video. I've only tried Infection a total of three times, I think. Mythology and The Beginning are very similar, IMO, they're not hard, with the exception of a gigantic run. And well, Pandy is just...Pandy.

Beat my last Expert 11 (ITG PS2)!! With possibly the worst score DDRFreak has ever seen!!
Now that that's over with, my goals are:
1. Improve my scores on 10s, 11s, and heck, some 9s too.
2. Beat Pandy Hard.
3. Start some 12s. Maybe.
Oh, and I also got my first A.  (Yes, I suck at scoring.) Disconnected -Mobius- 84.95%.

Congrats man on finishing all the Expert 11's!
I would say your first goal should be ti work on scoring. go back to like Medium and work on getting at least a * on songs then move up to Hard and do the same and then practice alot and eventually you'll get those scores up there

EDIT: (9:16 PM) An attempt at VerTex expert ended up with me failing 3 seconds before the 600 BPM part (with 41.99%, I believe). I might be able to pass it with some practice!

Yeah, you should work on your FA by either AAA'ing beginner or light songs in DDR or double, triple, or quad-starring songs on Easy. I might be able to 100% July (Easy) sometime. |

Haha. That makes my Infection score seem so good! Actually, no.
First time trying to actually improve my FA...so I went back to Easy and Medium songs. So here are the ones that were 1-star and above:
Xuxa Easy - * 96.88%
Tell Easy - ** 98.47% (I like Tell!)
Tell Medium- * 96.43% (As I said, I like this song.)
I got a whole crapload of S+'s, but I didn't feel like recording them.
I tried VerTex again, still failed about two seconds before the fast ending part, mostly because I spent too much energy full-comboing the first half of the song.

Haha, I found a new way to play on my Cobalt Flux. I like the Black and Textured arcade mod look, but I don't like how high the center panel is nor do I enjoy tripping over the brackets. I put the black panels on my Cobalt Flux again, but only put one clear lexen in the center so it would be level with the actual arrows so that the only panels that are raised are the corner buttons. I can still flat-foot without tripping over the center panel, and I can still feel if I'm off the arrows; plus it looks much nicer.

Anyway I managed to get some scores on it today:
Bend Your Mind (Expert) 77.92%
I beat it earlier today with a score of 75% (first time passing ever) but the picture turned out blurry so I tried it again and got 77.92%. I can't beleive it took me so long to beat this song; it's not even hard.
Kiss Me Red (Expert) 89.34%
I was kind of shocked with my score; I thought I was going to get somewhere in the 90's.
I came close to passing Pandemonium (Hard), Tell (Expert), The Beginning (Expert), Hardcore of the North (Expert), and Mythology (Expert).
I swear to god I'll be able to pass my first 12 when I get my Blueshark (Tell). It's not that hard, I just despise those jumps. |
