Yes it does. O_o The timing windows are almost identical between arcade and home. What mat did you play on? _________________

It's been confirmed that the timing on home versions was made slightly bigger to make up for the pad latency found on home pads.
That and it's much easier to move around on...say...a CF pad than it is actual arcade pads, thus requiring less stamina and making songs that much easier. _________________

Yes, but the reason for that was to make the timing windows as equal as possible. Because home pads aren't as precise as arcade pads, FAing at home would actually be harder if the values for the Fantastic windows were identical. The 2ms difference compensates for this.

On an unmodded CF, definitely. But on a modded one, there isn't much of a difference at all (especially if you're comparing a CF to a well-maintained ITG2 dedicab). _________________

Well i'm playing on my homemade pad, which is nearly identical to arcade pads. And yes the arrows are recessed _________________
