Whoa, if that's true then I can be wayyy better on a real extreme. in my city ... we only have a megamix.

when we first got our megamix, it was almost brand new. cept for the scratches and some torn stickers. Then over time like almost 3 years go. After a while the pads started getting harder to hold freezes, the lights on the subs stopped working. The lights on the 2p start buttons stopped lighting up... then DUN DUN DUNNNNNNN! The 2p pad died and only the down arrow works right. Then after I got back from a trip to vegas, the machine started crashing on certain songs and they would still play music but no arrows and the screen would stay still then speed up like 3 times faster and it's like ur playing sm. The left pad is still working right cept for some of the sensors toward the middle of the pad. And Galaxy won't let us play operation on the pad...

how would I stop the machine from crashing? someone help me! it's our pride and joy... it's the only machine that's not 2 hours from our city!

Is this Town By Any chance Rosarito Beach?? Coz You story is exactly what happened Here!! Including the "Galaxy" which is the name of the arcade right?

Sure, but I don't get the point of the picture.

EDIT: Why didn't I think of that before? laugh.gif

anyone ever heard of this, I got a friend who went an arcade while he was in PA, they had something called DDR Extreme CLEAN mix the banner was all pretty and the clean was actually embedded on the banner, when you played the actual cabinet the songlist was screwed up, i.e Healing vision angelic mix was on there about 8 times under different letters and when you highlighted it it showed the real song that was there, the mods screen was all jumbled blocks and numbers, all the game interface numbers except combo were jumbled up

Wow, a poorly put together bootleg. Could you maybe get some pictures?

Sounds like he made it to glitch city. If he didn't save there, then that's good. But if he did, then see if he has a flying pokemon with him, it's the only way out.

And yeah, I wanna see pictures too.

Where did he go in his 500 steps?

But yeah, that sounds interesting. I wanna see

I played on a Megamix machine the other day, and it seemed fine. I was doing pretty well on most songs, getting Greats and Goods like I would on an Extreme machine. (I'm not the best. XD) However, I did notice some songs missing from Extreme.

Our old megamix machine was a fun piece of shit. E4.gif

I never actually noticed if any songs were missing though.

The pink is so lovely.

And our result screens, they were so colorfully blue.

I will probably have to check it out again on friday to see what songs are added or removed from the Extreme songlist. the gay thing is it was moved to a place only open friday and saturday.

Hehe, blue=missing or corrupt image (in most applications).

Are there any pictures of the DDR KING bootleg machine floating around the internet? I am curious to see what it looks like.

I think it's just a 1stMIX with gold painted pads and "DDR KING" on the marquee.

Yeah, Six Flags Fiesta Texas had a MegaMix. Sucks too, because I seriously thought it was DDRMAX2. frown.gif I don't know why but I love DDRMAX2. Something about the theme.

Although I did like the caution screen: two robot things with a "CAUTION: DON'T FALL OFF!" in the center. E10.gif

I went to an local arcade a while back, It has a DDR Extreme machine, it looked legit.. but when you got up to it, It basically had eBay TX2000 pads, and a PS2 version of DDR Extreme... You couldn't speed mod or anything... you could even play DDR using the selection buttons
