I've decided to buy some lexen panels for my TX-1000, but i dont know what size to have the lexen cut in to. The thickness of course for the pad is going to be 1/8". But I'm not sure on the width and length size is going to have to be. I've heard 11 X 11, and 12 X 12, and I'd really like to just get the panels and not have to cut them myself seeing as to its hard to cut. So can i get the exact sizes i need for the lexen panels please? Again, its a TX-1000.

EDIT: and would aluminum sheet metal be a good conductor, or other then galvanized, what would be best?

I believe that most "true" and unmodified TX's use 11x11 inch panels. About your conducting material...I can't really tell you what is the best. You can decide for youself - how sensetive and durable do you want it? Then do some research to find the perfect one.

You'll want to get 10 7/8" sheets unless you can cut them down further, otherwise they might not fit into the wells.
I had to cut one of my spare arrows down to fit into the right arrow well, and it took about 20 minutes because I didn't want to mutilate it too severly.

I can get you my measurements Sunday afternoon, but it's not an actual official TX 1000, so the measurements will most definately be incorrect, especially since the arrow wells on mine are all slightly different sizes.

Yeah, my exact measurements were 10 13/16". I was going to have them cut to 11 X 11, but I was afraid that if they were too big, I would be hard to cut the lexen down. So i said cut it to 10 13/16". And I suppose its not going to be a big deal if its off just a tiny bit. And is 30 gauge sheet metal good for hard use? because thats what Im getting tomorrow. Thanks guys.
