A non-fiction/documentary I made for an assignment project in a film class at UCSD. Focus is the game DDR and the people who play it. There was an extreme time and recourse constraint when making this, so I am happy it turned out as well as it did. Entire production lasted just over two weeks. From concept to completion, that included thinking of the idea, writing a script and questions, scouting, filming, interviewing, recording, editing, post-production, and encoding. Piece was made 95% in iMovie, with a portion of the intro that was made using Windows Movie Maker. _________________

It's pretty well done for being put together in a matter of weeks. It is definetly made for more of a general public than the community itself.
Great work though explaining the game though and the community itself. _________________

I thought it was great. It could have been better but for the time limit you had, it was great. You really explained everything very thorughly (excuse me if I misspelled). 4 1/2 Stars |

Wow, nice job. That was put together pretty well, especially considering the time frame. _________________

Good job. I actually really liked it.
Pretty much sums up what DDR is about. |

that's pretty interesting to watch. I think there should of been more teens and kids in the video though, not only adults _________________

I rather enjoyed that. The subject matter was well thought out and the questions were appropriate and seemed to flow. I also loved some of small touches like dubbing over music rather than relying on "machine music" as the acoustics of arcades suck ass. The wipes and fades were also rather well placed.
There were a few little glitchy things like people "jumps". There also could have been a better barrier between the ending monologue and the blooper reel (I was sitting there like "what the hell? Oh, it's ending... ah, there are the credits")... but as you said, you were limited to two weeks and this is phenomenal quality given that time frame.
Either way, thanks for sharing it with us, Cfusion. _________________
