I play 9 foot experts on In the Groove and I am working to be able to play 10 foot songs. My footwork is terrible and as a result I am just too slow to hit the notes in time. I really struggle with cross-overs and I end up doing double taps. What I need is a practice song that is nothing but cross-over combinations that go slowly so I can work on the pattern recognition and make my feet go to the right arrows. I was wondering if anyone can create a step file for step mania that might do this? There doesnât need to be any music. Also, two side notes. I have noticed that in some songs there are cross-overs in the gallup patters, I have not quite figured those out either but maybe they will come naturally if I get the standard cross-over right. P.S. Does anyone have any general advice on how to improve on arrow combinations that throw in jumps single arrow jump single arrow patterns?

find a simfile for exotic ethnic, and just turn the rate down (if it's too fast for you to learn at). That has plenty crossovers. Oh, that and Delta 32 (which is in UM3). I beleive EE is in 6th mix (?) if not then it's definitely in 7th. |

Can't Stop Fallin' In Love (the 9 footer one) has some crossovers, and there's a part in Vertex Expert that has really fast crossovers once you get them down. |

Vertex's crossovers are too fast for a person still trying to learn crossovers. I strongly recommend Boom Boom Dollar (KOG G3 Remix) standard. |

try to find a simfile for DanDanDo by DesBos feat. Alpha
it has the most crossovers in any song.
BTW its a SuperNOVA song, so try to look for it.
Also- Rhythme and Police is good too |

Nah, they're not too bad because they aren't sudden and you can anticipate when they are coming. I'd keep doing them over and over in training mode until I mastered them. Then the crossovers in DDR will seem easy because there aren't so many right after each other. |
