just be original, for the longest time i am bored at seeing people hop the bar, knee drops and hands.some people has got to start a signature freestyle dance if they want to inspire the spectators.

I don't think it's dead ... I think it's in a coma. Still alive, but not really doing anything. I still freestyle ... even though I'm old hahaha!

And I'm sure I'm not the only one out there that still DOES freestyle.

So no ... it's not dead ... it's in a coma. And hopefully ... it'll wake up soon. E13.gif

Dead? No.

But does it suck right now? Absolutely.

It's really hard for people to want to freestyle when so many are either stuck in tech, too shy/nervous to get on and actually try, or some of the oldies are busy in their real lives. :S

As for applying style to DDR, keep in mind that some are easier than others. some work far better on doubles, some will do on singles.

And as for being creative, I've recently been wondering. If someone was studying one style consistently because it's their favorite, and yet make two routines that are similiar but different, is that bad?

"Or should we all try different styles, even if we're not comfortable doing them?"

I actually never thought about that.....all i can say is, if you want
to freestyle, don't be afraid, if you have a crowd that never played ddr,
then you could try it, if you mess up, just hurry and fix the problem
(i think) I admit that i do some freestyling myself, i try it for any song that
i can "feel the music too", i mess up, i just get angry about how i missed ^^

It helps to have a friend who also likes to screw around/casual FS, find one and you'll find yourself a bit more eager to think of routines. Rare sort of person, but they're out there.

That'd make two of us, now wouldn't it? laugh.gif

But yeah, I was told you may have a hand in things. Hopefully by Monday-ish there'll be more details. But 'tis shaping up nicely, ya?

Well when DDR began to lose it's technical aspect, people freestyled more.

Shall we see the same for ITG?

Indeed... Always hold on to that small ray of llight and hence it will grow brighter upon your determination and wish upon your dream...

And well I think the people whom play this game forgot the whole aspect upon it. It is to have fun to my personal view and to get other people innovated as well.. But yeah it is pretty much halted upon the people who are just all just like you said hell bent to get the best scores and get that AAA or 99%.. Hence I never seen a person FS and get a AAA at the same time.. But if that probably happened in DDR history all the techie players would probably go mental... But hence one day it may come true... I still believe do y'all?
