my up arrow on my AB doesn't work ideally anymore, you can only sometimes got it to work in one corner of the panel, but that's no usefull. So, anyone know how to fix such a problem?

I dont think it's a cleaning thing, but I gave the sheet metal(for lack of the right word that I'm looking for I think) a wipe down with a damp cloth and dry cloth anyway. Still no improvement. Could it possible be there are some slight cracks in the sheet metal tha cause it to not work/ could I replace the metal on the bottom of the panel, and could that make a difference?

Sounds like a bad sautering job.
Make sure the wires are all properly connected to the sensor. If not, some good electrical tape should fis the problem.

you can probably test it with a multimeter. find the control box/circuit board, and see if the connections work.
