Ok, I finished burning the ISO file onto a disc and put it into my PS2 and only the origonal ITG1 songs work. Everytime I choose an ITG2 song it says "?" for the amount of steps, freezes, mines, jumps, ect. and when I start it it says the song name and the round number and then freezes. Does anyone know how I can fix this?

Hey icker, are you using .sm's or .dwi's?

I compiled the ISO following the instructions on page 10, then burned the ISO as-is to a DVD. When I tried to load the burned game using SwapMagic 3.6/FlipTop Lid, I get an "Invalid PS2 Disk" error. What did I do wrong? I admit, I am too arsed to look right now since I just finished homework and want to get some DDR in before the night is done.

When you burned the ISO, did you burn the ISO as a file on the DVD? Or did you actually burn it as a disc image?

I burned it as an ISO on a DVD.... should I have burned it as a disk image?

I have converted all of my songs to OGG Vorbis (48000hz) files. When I play them in Winamp, they sound like Chipmunks. Will they still work?

Fuck I forgot. I'd upload it right now, but I, again, am on the wrong computer to do it frown.gif.

I really should think about getting a copy of PCKSuite on this computer...

A'righty.
I created my pck files by placing in the comment area "default test" I always placed spaces inbetween. My game booted, but had horrible load times, as well as bugs and crap galore.

If I comment it as "defaultwhatever" will this fix my problem? Maybe? Haha.

Lol no if its booting than your good. If by buggy you mean that the song wheel is jaggedy and such, then thats a result of not caching. As of now thats an Opengroove exclusive but as a hint itgps2 caches like "Courses/Marathon/Bounce (418x164).png" where as stepmania caches like "/Courses/Marathon/Bounce (418x164).png". I dont recommend putting on any more than 500 songs or its gonna start to have some severe performance issues.

I only placed about 40 songs on my test disc. By buggy I meant that when scrolling onto a custom song, the wheel hangs a second before moving onto it. When I select a song, it takes nearly a minute-minute and a half for the mod screen to show up. Then everything else works smoothly.

Okay, so by the end in each song folder (for songs I'm adding), what has to be in there?
converted song
resized bg / banner
and??

the .sm file in stepmania folders? Like a screenshot of a song folder ready to be repacked would be nice.

Also what kind of modded ps2 would I need to play this ? (like.. what mod would I have to do?)
thanks
