Remember the talk about playing DDR on your phone? Well I decided to download the program for my phone, so I thought I'd give a little review of it.

The game has a whopping total of *gasp* 11 SONGS! They are: Graduation, Max 300, Love Shine, Dynamite Rave, Silent Hill, Make A Jam, Think Ya Better D, Dance Dance Revolution, Breakdown, Candy, and A. You can play on either 'Easy' or 'Normal' mode. There are also the following arrow appearance options: Visible, Hidden, Sudden, and Stealth. You use the 2, 4, 8, and 6 keys as your arrows. The songs are all polyphonic, but it's easy to tell what they are. Arrows scroll REALLY slow, and believe it or not, it's actually sort of hard to hit them at the right time, partially because you lose your place on the keypad.

It's a good 10 minutes of amusement, but beyond that the game falls short (though I should have expected that). Your money is probably better spent on something with more playback value. However, if you are the ultimate DDR fan who NEEDS everything DDR, then omg u must go buy it rite now!!1

Didn't really expect it to do well myself. A cellphone's framerate would suck for DDR. I wouldn't mind downloading it though.

I never heard of this, but as soon as I saw the topic title, I knew it was a review and a bad one. Cellphone DDR is about as bad as Konami's gameboy DDRs.

i've played this. (foreign exchange student from Japan has it on her phone) i played dance dance revolution, i had MAYBE a 6 combo. the game was on the cellphone when she bought it, and it only has the one song. (strange) the arrows scroll at ~50ish BPM.

DDR for cell phones is the worst DDR game I've ever played ever, ever, ever. All of the songs average somewhere between 100-150 BPM... ALL of them. Thry never actually have the right BPM per song, so don't be fooled to thinking some songs are just halved in speed.

The arrows are literally completely random on some difficulties. it's pure crap, and also near impossible to hit even half the arrows to any rhythm. It's all button mashing, which exactly what DDR is NOT about. Playing this game will actually lower your skill at dance games. I would rathre somone religiously play ITG tan play this crap-fest.

point: DON'T GET THIS GAME. YOU'LL REGRET IT, UNLESS YOU REALLY DON'T KNOW ANY BETTER. (poor you E2.gif )

Simply put, it was totally hateful! I played it on my friend's Motorola RAZOR and pretty much, it sucked buttocks! it wasn't totally in sync whenever I pressed the direction buttons, and it was staying on standard when I changed it to heavy. Conclusional point, don't ever get it!
