The official Konami pads are infamous for their incredible durabiliy, for a non-foam, non-metal pad.

Of course, if you don't balance your time between home play and arcade, or put in effort to find a good arcade-like pad you will suck.*DUH*

I was playing on my modded softpad for quite some time, and I was playing fine at the arcade on Heavy; I just had to lift my feet more.
